摘要

Plant proteome is highly dynamic and is essential for the investigation of protein expression, interactions, and modifications to better understand tea plants’ molecular mechanisms related to phenotypes. Proteomics is recognized as a valuable approach that can provide a comprehensive understanding of complex biological processes. Currently, tea proteomics is rapidly growing as an effective strategy offering valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms involved in crucial quality-related component biosynthesis and the mechanisms of their differential accumulation responding to (a)biotic stress, dynamics during manufacturing, and so on. In conclusion, tea proteomics can help to improve high quality tea production, scientific guidance in processing steps, and storage, targeting a better flavor and more consistent tea products for consumers.
