摘要

This chapter provides valuable insights into the physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying cold stress tolerance in plants. This chapter highlights the importance of plant adaptations to seasonal temperature fluctuations and cold stress, focusing on key components, such as MAPK, TPS11, ICE1, and antioxidant enzymes. These elements play pivotal roles in processes related to chilling tolerance and cold acclimation, ultimately contributing to the achievement of maximum freezing tolerance in plants. This study emphasizes the self-regulatory mechanism employed by plants during cold acclimation, inviting further investigation into this process. This study expands the understanding of how plants respond to and thrive in cold environments, with potential applications for enhancing crop resilience to cold stress.
