Structural Design of Composite Spiral Shear Micro-Bubble Generator

Compared with ordinary bubbles, micro and nano bubbles are characterized by large specific surface area and high mass transfer efficiency, and have been widely used in mineral flotation, aquaculture and other industries. Compared with other types of microbubble generators, the cyclone shear bubble generator has the advantages of small bubble size and uniform distribution. The bubble formation efficiency of the single cyclone shear bubble generator is relatively low due to the influence of the initial bubble size distribution. Based on this, this paper proposes a composite spiral shear microbubble generator on the basis of the existing cyclonic shear bubble generator, which consists of a jet bubble-forming section, a spiral-enhanced crushing section, and a tail-breaking vortex section. Combining the traditional venturi structure with the static spiral shear structure, a new type of bubble-breaking structure is composed to generate cyclonic flow so as to enhance gas-liquid contact and mixing.
