Research on the Application of Path Planning in Augmented Reality-Assisted Assembly

摘要

The continuous improvement of industrial equipment functionality inevitably leads to increasingly complex assembly processes. Traditional assembly methods often lack intuitive descriptions of assembly procedures, resulting in low work efficiency. In order to enhance the efficiency of assembly operations, this paper proposes a Path Plane Adaptation Point Method based on the A* pathfinding algorithm. By utilizing this method, the two-dimensional pathfinding algorithm can be applied to three-dimensional AR-assisted assembly, reducing misleading guidance and improving assembly efficiency. Additionally, a product prototype is developed using Unity and Vuforia SDK to validate the feasibility of this method. The proposed approach offers an alternative design perspective for current AR assembly designs.
