Effect of Grinding Passes on Hardened Layer Uniformity of HT250
摘要
The influence of grinding passes on the uniformity of grind-hardening layer of gray cast iron HT250 was studied by using white corundum grinding wheel on a surface grinder. The results show that under a certain grinding amount, increasing the grinding passes can fully harden the unhardened specimen, improve the uniformity of the microstructure of the hardened layer and the depth of the hardened layer, but has no significant effect on the microhardness values of the hardened high hardness zone, which are between 850-900HV0.2. The research results can provide an effective way to ensure the quality of the grind-hardening layer under the condition of small grinding depth.
