摘要
Higher education has revolutionized by leaps and bounds during the last decades, the new generations have caused teachers to migrate from traditional teaching to the use of innovative digital or face-to-face methodological strategies, such as gamification. The objective of this project is to show that through gamification an active learning is generated, using a quantitative methodology where the sample is 256 students of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, of the study plans Systems Engineering Administrator and Mechanical Engineering Administrator. Analyzing 3 factors: The use of gamification in the classroom, the motivation of the students, and the benefit in the performance in their classes using a measurement instrument with 15 items. The discovery of skills in playful contexts, i.e., trying, making mistakes, or failing and then trying again, encourages exploration and experimentation. Such tools accelerate the achievement of sustainable development globally.
