Sleeping Difficulties
摘要
In this chapter the latest research about the sleeping difficulties of autistic people is presented. It begins with an overview of the different types of sleeping difficulties that children can experience, such as sleep terrors, restless leg syndrome, and behavioural insomnia. A summary of the documented sleeping difficulties that autistic children can exhibit, the prevalence of sleeping difficulties among autistic people, and the diagnostic tools that can be used to diagnose sleeping difficulties among autistic people are then outlined.
