摘要

The escalating world population is directly affecting food production leading to a rapid fall of agriculture land resources which is posing a major commination to sustainable agriculture. The resident soil bacteria and use of microbial inoculants play a cognitive role in determining soil health. Soil microbial diversity is significantly affected by bioinoculant types and diversity and its mediating disturbance regime, which directly affects plant health. Extensive agriculture practices such as tillage, mono-cropping, and use of chemical fertilizers have adversely influenced resident microbial community and deteriorating soil structure. A proper balance of soil resident microbial communities in particular functional communities and use of bioinoculants should be in pace to maintain soil health so that soil nutrient status and beneficial microbes within soil regime are not disturbed and plant performance is also inflated.
