Thyroid Eye Disease

Thyroid eye disease has myriad presentations which continues to pose clinical dilemmas for uniform management of this disease. The eye disease ranges from mild eye symptoms to sight-threatening optic neuropathy which may need emergency management. Steroids have been the mainstay of managing the active phase of eye disease in the past few decades. With emergence of immunomodulators, we may have answers to managing this disease in a more rational way in the future.
