Summary of Localization
摘要
Localization of a lesion and identifying the diagnosis involve certain important steps. A detailed history and focused neurological examination will provide the multiple functional impairments in the patient. Assessing the areas in the neural axis which explain these impairments and then identifying a single (rarely multiple) region which explains the genesis of all the symptoms is attempted. Finally, the most likely aetiology causing dysfunction at the site is determined.
