Olfactory Nerve: First Cranial Nerve
摘要
It is the shortest cranial nerve carrying sensation of smell from the nasal mucosa to the olfactory bulb. The olfactory nerve is a pure sensory nerve with a single function of smell. The olfactory nerves are in fact constituted by the central processes of the olfactory neurons which are unmyelinated axons that form approximately 20 branches on each side.
