Door Lock System Based on Android Fingerprint Application Using Keypad and Telegram Notifications

Technology is needed today; with technology, many things can be done quickly. Currently, houses with traditional lock security systems are very easy to break into by thieves. For this reason, it needs to be improved so that it has better security. This study designed a door lock system prototype consisting of ESP8266, solenoid lock, relay module, buzzer, and magnetic sensor switch. Telegram notifications can provide information to users, so they can inform if someone opens the door by force. When the door opens, the magnetic sensor switches, and the ESP8266 sends sensor data information to the Telegram application. A push button is made in the fingerprint application to open the door, which opens and closes the lock using a solenoid lock. The results are a door lock system that can be controlled through a fingerprint application and send notifications to the Telegram application. The door lock system makes it easier for the person in charge of security to open and lock the door, reduces duplication of door locks, and can detect strangers trying to enter the house without permission.
