Real-Time Patient Health Data Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things Technology
摘要
Patients in healthcare facilities such as hospitals and clinics need to monitor continuously time to achieve the latest status and be aware in case of an emergency needed. Several monitoring systems implemented but has some limitation and are not in real-time as well as single parameter. This research aims to design and develop a heart rate, body temperature, and blood pressure detection device based on the Internet of Things (IoT) for monitoring patient health conditions in healthcare facilities. The designed device is equipped with sensors that can accurately read heart rate, body temperature, and blood pressure, as well as a system that is connected to the internet network so that the data generated can be accessed and analyzed in real time. The detection device has been tested using several patients with different health conditions. The results of the work show that the designed detection device can accurately read heart rate, body temperature, and blood pressure and can send data to a cloud server via the internet connection. The data generated by this detection device can be accessed by medical personnel or patients themselves. The results show all the patient parameters able to monitor remotely with an accuracy of up to 99%. It is hoped that the designed detection device can help medical personnel monitor patients’ health conditions more effectively and efficiently, as well as facilitate patients in monitoring their health. In addition, the IoT technology used in this device can open up opportunities for the development of more sophisticated and innovative health devices in the future.
