Design of Two-Stage Differential Op-Amp with Frequency Compensation
摘要
The goal of designing the two-stage amplifier with frequency compensation is to examine the stability of an operational amplifier using phase margin. The amplifier is designed with series-shunt feedback and the Miller compensation technique to meet the required specifications. The operational amplifier was built using 180nm process technology and has a DC gain of about 64 dB with a phase margin of 51 \(^\circ \) at a gain bandwidth of 100 MHz (UGBW) and a slew rate of 30 V/us. Finally, it was able to improve amplifier performance by employing the Miller compensation technique.
