Virtual Implementation of MIMO in Cooperative Communication

The 5th generation mobile networks are capable of processing large amounts of data from the users. Cooperative communication is a novel method that enables single transmitters in a multiuser environment with the help of relays. An analytical model is suggested to concisely define all potential outcomes of each transmission to acquire the theoretical formulas of error rate performance. This article focuses on the error probability occurrence analysis with variation in transmit power for varying number of relays. It also focuses on how the system behaves as a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system.
