  • Jing Song

摘要

Based on the results reported in Chap. 5 , the spatial distribution of individual resilience in different communities suggests the attributes of communities should be the potential determinants of individual resilience. Except the attributes on the community level, the second hypothesis of this research: individual perceptions of urban flooding, living place and living society can influence individual resilience. In order to test this research hypothesis, in this chapter I identify the factors that encourage and inhibit resilience, and to achieve this, I need to answer the second research questions: “What were the determinants (People-Disaster-Place-Society) of individual resilience?”
