摘要

Bio-based nanomaterials have received a lot of interests in the field of cancer therapy due to their strong properties, including homologous pharmaceuticals, synergistic properties, biological compatibility, biodegradability, and biological safety. The five main types of bioactive compounds for cancer and their applications in biobased nano-formulation for the oncological therapy were polysaccharides, nucleic acid, phenolics, protein and peptide, and lipid. The functions of these bioactive substances have been arranged precisely, and examples of the composite designs, structural descriptions, adaptive properties, anti-tumour processes, and biological outcomes of the nano-systems have been provided. Ultimately, we had a full discussion of the problems now facing the field and its prospects for the future. We are sure that this chapter will give important and cutting-edge biomedical sciences cutting-edge thoughts, inspiring approaches, and potential paths for generating cutting-edge bio-based nanostructures to support the treatment of cancer.
