CRS is a Technology for Improving the Image of the Environment. The Results of the Technology Application on the Example of Real Data

New explorations and seismic surveys offer us challenges that test our approach for seismic processing. The seismic material is becoming more complex nowadays and this factor is just one of several reasons why modern seismic processing is so challenging. Difficult surface conditions, uneven observation grid due to area restrictions or geological factors, variable seismogeological conditions in the upper part of the section – all of these factors can led to deadline shifts, extra time con-sumption and money waste. Using of CRS processing technology is a way to solve challenging projects with vast majority of problems like graben structures and fault, steepness of the slopes difficulties. We experienced all spectra of described problems while processed seismic material in area of Bashkiria. Due to CRS technology advantages we managed to achieve excellent processing results, that can be used as a proof of CRS reliability. CRS processing method is based on multidimensional parametrization of the wave field (depending on the specific implementation of the method), which is considers over 9 parameters of wave-field equation. This approach is extremely useful for an uneven grid, abound in omissions, outliers due to terrain or man-made problems, as well as in areas with complex structural and tectonic structure of deposits. CRS processing sequence made possible to locate and properly visualize small geological structures, that cannot be seen by using standard processing sequence.
