Application and Research of FWI Constrained with Geological Model in Complex Fault Area
摘要
The full waveform inversion method is a high-precision velocity modeling method, but the inversion result is not ideal in the complex fault-block region because of low S/N radio and so on. Based on the conventional FWI theory, this paper proposes to use the seismic interpretation data as a constraint to construct an objective functional formula based on the constraint of the geological model, and to use the seismic interpretation data to restrain the FWI inversion. Using the Marmousi model to test and compare the processing results of different velocity inversion methods, it is shown that the new method of full wave inversion based on geological model constraints can effectively invert the velocity field in complex fault-block areas with high accuracy and small error with real velocity. Using the velocity inverted by this method for pre-stack depth migration can improve the imaging effect of complex fault-block areas.
