The Application of Broadband Processing Techniques on 3D Streamer Data, a Case Study in Nigeria's Gulf of Guinea
摘要
In the 3D marine acquisition environment, seismic data is often affected by bubble interference and multiples. Furthermore, the impact of anisotropy on far offsets becomes more pronounced if the acquisition is designed with long offset cables, these issues pose significant challenges for marine seismic data processing. In this paper, a case in the Nigeria Gulf of Guinea area was studied and several advanced technologies to address these challenges, including optimized designature, integrated multiple attenuation, and automatic high-density anisotropic velocity analysis. By utilizing the above-mentioned technologies and comparing the reprocessing results with legacy data, significant improvements in data quality have been observed. The effectiveness of these methods in enhancing data quality has been demonstrated, making it more reliable and accurate for further analysis and interpretation.
