Research and Application of Seismic Acquisition in Complex Surface Areas of Southwest Sichuan

The southeast Sichuan Basin is rich in natural gas reserves, with 11 sets of conventional gas and unconventional gas reservoirs. However, the improvement of seismic data quality in this area is restricted by multiple types and wide distribution of surface obstacles, complex surface exposed lithology, sand-mud interbedding, limestone, sandstone and mudstone interlacing. In this paper, the design optimization of integrated seismic and geological observation system, comprehensive surface survey, precise design of excitation point location and dose in complex obstacle area with high-resolution aerial film and surface lithology information, and coupling of geophone reception are carried out to improve the quality of seismic data and seismic imaging, and the accuracy of structural interpretation and sweet spot prediction.
