Investigation of the Interpretation Technique and Seismic Attribute Application of Seismic Data in the Depth Domain
摘要
When compared to time domain seismic data, depth domain migration seismic data can more accurately and intuitively describe changes in the properties of underlying structures. It has clear benefits in imaging regions with complicated geological features, and it is becoming increasingly important in the complete study of geology. However, the flexibility of interpretation techniques, well shock matching, depth correction, and the applicability of seismic features in depth domain are all challenges that limit the depth domain data's future employment. The interpretation method and process of the seismic data in the depth domain are explored by analyzing the characteristics of the seismic data in the depth domain, and the correction of the seismic depth error is realized by establishing the trend field of well vibration error, which greatly improves the accuracy of the comprehensive interpretation in the depth domain. Through the investigation of the applicability of seismic attributes including structure class, amplitude class, and frequency/wave number class, some recommendations on the applicability of various attributes are made in accordance with the features of depth domain data.
