Research Progress and Application Practice of Well Testing Technology for Carbonate Reservoirs

摘要

Carbonate reservoirs play an important role in the distribution of oil and gas fields worldwide. The characteristics of carbonate oil and gas reservoirs are relatively complex, and well testing technology is a powerful means to understand the reservoir. This article analyzes the geological and fluid flow characteristics of different types of carbonate oil and gas reservoirs, systematically reviews the research progress of fractured carbonate oil and gas reservoirs, fractured carbonate oil and gas reservoirs, bottom water carbonate oil and gas reservoirs, as well as carbonate oil and gas reservoir well testing models considering stress sensitivity, high-speed non-Darcy and other factors. On this basis, taking the North Truwa carbonate oil field with strip-shaped sedimentary characteristics, a deep and high-yield carbonate oil reservoir with characteristics of multi-layer stacking, natural fractures, and fault development, and using the development method of multi-layer acid pressure combined production in the West Sichuan Depression gas reservoir as an example, this paper elaborates on the well testing interpretation model and its application for different types of carbonate oil and gas reservoirs. This article provides a certain reference for further research on well testing interpretation methods for complex carbonate reservoirs.
