Evaluate Oil Production Performance from Tight Oil Formations by Oil Layer Classification

Objectives/Scope: There is a significant difference in production performance of horizontal wells after volume fracturing in Mahu tight conglomerate reservoir, and it is urgent to carry out research on the production situation of different types of reservoirs. Methods, Procedures, Process: Based on tracer production profile data and optical fiber production measurement, carry out horizontal section profile utilization rules, optimize fracturing construction methods, achieve positive stress field intervention, and improve fracture complexity. Results, Observations, Conclusions: Through tracer monitoring and optical fiber production measurement of the horizontal section profile utilization pattern, it was found that the main oil producing section accounts for a small number, and there is a significant difference in output between different fracturing sections of a single well, with some sections not contributing, while there is a significant difference in horizontal section utilization. The cumulative concentration of tracer backflow in large sections of multi cluster dense cutting fracturing wells is not strongly correlated with Class I and Class II reservoirs, and there is a significant difference in output between sections, reflecting interference between fracturing sections. Improving the sanding strength of Class I and II oil reservoirs can ensure effective fracture conductivity and maintain long-term stable production. The contribution of Class III oil layers to production is low, and the sanding intensity of Class III oil layers is 1 square meter. Under the same conditions of adding sand and liquid, the length of the supporting joint should be longer when the spacing between the joints is large. However, due to the multiple factors affecting the actual transport of proppant, the length of the supporting joint is limited. Novel/Additive Information: Based on the differences in the contribution of different quality oil layers in Mahu Lake, quantitatively evaluate the degree of utilization, and guide the formulation of production improvement measures during the development and implementation process, such as horizontal well cluster division, differential fracturing design, and layer selection of production improvement measures.
