Application of 3D Induction Logging Response Analysis and Data Processing in Horizontal Wells
摘要
In order to solve the practical technical problems encountered in the application of three-dimensional induction tool (3DIT) in horizontal wells. This paper establish the data processing method of 3DIT in horizontal wells by analyzing the response characteristics of 3DIT in horizontal wells, and further explores the application value of 3DIT in horizontal wells. Firstly, with the homogeneous uniaxial anisotropic formation model, the relationship between the logging response of 3DIT and the horizontal and vertical resistivity changes of the formation is quantitatively analyzed. Secondly, with the three-layer planar stratified formation model, the effects of parameters such as horizontal and vertical resistivity, shoulder bed resistivity, layer thickness, dip angle, and detection distance on tool response are further simulated by using logging numerical software. 3DIT logging response database is established, and 3DIT logging environment correction chart in horizontal wells is formed. On this basis, a fast and efficient 3DIT logging data processing method in horizontal wells is established with the apparent processing and the correction of pattern as core process. The actual logging data processing shows that 3DIT has important application value in interested formation geological description and reservoir evaluation in the horizontal wells.
