Development and Application of FITS Through-Drilling-Tool High Resolution Array Sonic Logging Tool

摘要

In the late stage of oilfield development, highly deviated wells, horizontal wells,extended reach wells and wells with complex conditions are quite common in oilfield development. Such complex and harsh borehole environment makes it impossible for conventional logging technology to obtain logging data. In order to meet the logging requirements, the Fast Imaging Through-drilling-tool Logging System (FITS) is developed. Monopole array sonic logging tool is one of the key tools in the FITS. It is a conventional sonic logging tool. It can measure the formation P-wave time difference, obtain S-wave time difference in hard formation, and obtain high-resolution sonic logging curve. Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the structure and construction technology of the FITS; secondly, it focuses on the Tool technical performance indicators, composition and working principle of the circuit of the Thru-pipe tool high-resolution sonic logging tool; then it gives a detailed description of each module of the circuit system; finally, it describes the indoor test and field application of the Thru-pipe high-resolution sonic logging tool. Indoor test shows that the temperature resistance of sonic logging tool reaches 165 ℃. The tools can work reliably under both surface logging system power supply and battery power supply. It has been applied in 200 wells in Changqing and Xinjiang and achieved good results.
