Typical LNG Projects Characteristics and Enlightenment on Mergers and Acquisitions

Natural gas is a high-quality and efficient clean fossil energy, which is of great significance for oil companies to optimize their energy structure and reduce carbon emissions. LNG has obvious advantages over pipeline gas and is a notable project type for overseas M&A. This paper analyzes the global LNG resource situation and resource supply and demand relationship of major countries around the world and divide the LNG into coming the engineering type and the gas source. This paper analyzes the characteristics and constraints of typical projects, summarize the key evaluation indicators for different types of LNG projects and propose suggestions for LNG M&A project, which provide ideas and suggestions for the evaluation of overseas LNG mergers and acquisitions projects.
