Study on Evaluation Method of Single Well Benefit of Tight Gas in Sichuan Basin

Single wells are the basic unit of exploration and development of oil and gas fields. Single well benefit evaluation is the basis for the benefit evaluation of oil and gas field exploration and development projects. It has made important contributions to the rapid development of tight sandstone gas (hereinafter referred to as tight gas) in Sichuan Basin by virtue of many advantages such as small investment scale and fast approval process. Based on the study of single well benefit evaluation method, paper analyzes whether the theoretical system of economic evaluation of oil and gas field exploration and development projects is suitable for the current stage of Sichuan Basin tight gas single well benefit evaluation, and the particularity of tight gas single well benefit evaluation in Sichuan Basin. Paper explores solutions from the selection of evaluation subjects, the determination of benchmark indicators, the adjustment of evaluation phases, and the analysis of uncertainty factors to achieve more accurate and effective support for investment decision-making purposes, which has important practical significance for helping the tight gas in Sichuan Basin to produce quickly.
