Method and Application of Optimization of the Opening Time of Intermittent Wells in Tight Gas
摘要
Intermittent production is an important method for the development and management of gas wells in tight gas reservoirs in the middle and late stages of production. At present, the commonly used methods for optimizing the opening time of intermittent wells, include theoretical analysis and empirical statistical methods, have disadvantages such as poor reliability and lagging cognition, which are difficult to meet the needs in gas fields. Therefore, based on theoretical analysis and on-site high-frequency real-time production data, a new method for optimizing opening time is proposed. Firstly, taking the maximization of daily average gas production in intermittent period as the optimization objective of intermittent well opening time, the prediction model of daily average gas production in intermittent period of gas well under the condition of depletion decline is derived through ARPS decline theory; Secondly, the model extreme value analysis is carried out to determine the timing of the maximum daily average gas production in intermittent periods; On this basis, this method is applied in typical wells in tight gas reservoirs in Ordos Basin, by which the average daily gas production was increased by 18.2%. it is shown that this method, providing a new idea for the optimization of intermittent well opening time in tight gas reservoir, has a good application effect and prospect.
