Distribution Pattern and Development Strategies of Structural Remaining Oil in Fracture-Vuggy Reservoirs

The development of Tahe fracture vuggy Carbonate rock reservoir has entered the middle and late stage, and the development object has changed to the fracture vuggy reservoir with “smaller scale”, “lower structural position” and “weaker reflection characteristics”. The internal structure characterization of the fracture vuggy reservoir with oil and gas enrichment and the measures to increase production and tap potential have become the key to achieving stable production in the old area of Tahe Oilfield. Establish geophysical methods based on carving, frequency division and azimuth division to identify fractures and caves of different scales, static methods for fine calibration and interpretation of reservoirs around wells with drilling, logging and logging data, and dynamic methods for production monitoring data to correct the internal structure of reservoirs, and develop dynamic quantitative identification standards to improve the accuracy of Earthquake prediction, so as to form a comprehensive identification and characterization method for the internal structure of fractures and caves; Based on engineering factors, development factors, and internal differences in fracture and cavity bodies, the distribution patterns of structural residual oil in three major categories and six subcategories were summarized in combination with production practice, and targeted measures for controlling the utilization of structural residual oil were proposed. The targeted utilization strategies for six types of structural residual oil have been proven to have significant stimulation effects, and can effectively utilize the structural residual oil inside the fracture cavity, providing effective strategies for stable production in Tahe Oilfield.
