Research on Adaptive Estimation Method of Dry Rock Modulus Based on Mineral Elastic Modulus Calibration Algorithm

摘要

Minerals are the foundation of dry rock frame. Conventional dry rock calculation methods usually set the mineral modulus to a single theoretical or empirical value. However, due to the influence of sedimentary environment, diagenesis and other factors, the same type of mineral varies greatly in different regions.The inconsistency between actual measured value and the theoretical value leads to inaccurate calculation of dry rock elastic parameters. Considering the differences in mineral modulus in different regions, this paper forms a calibration technique for the elastic modulus of minerals. The traversal search method was used to calculate the optimal equivalent elastic modulus of minerals. Then, adaptive calculation of the dry rock elastic modulus was carried out based on the frame model. This method can reduce computational errors caused by the characterization of matrix minerals, which is suitable for underground media in different regions. The calculation results of actual logging data indicate that the prediction results of P-wave velocity and S-wave velocity using dry rock adaptive calculation method based on mineral elastic modulus calibration are consistent with the measured values, which verifies the applicability of this method in dry rock parameter calculation. This method provides the accurate basic data for complex reservoir rock physical modeling, time-lapse seismic feasibility analysis.
