摘要

Since 2020, significant breakthroughs has been made in the exploration of the Permian Maokou Formation in central Sichuan, which has become an important field for increasing conventional gas reserves and production in the Sichuan Basin. Gas testing and production have confirmed that there are significant differences in testing production capacity and production characteristics in different regions or between different gas wells in the same region. The unclear characteristics of gas well production capacity control factors greatly affect the selection of favorable development areas and the formulation of technical policies. Based on the comprehensive analysis of fracture development characteristics, reservoir type and distribution characteristics, and gas well productivity characteristics, this paper points out that dolomite reservoir section is generally associated with micro-fractures, which is a high-quality reservoir of Maokou Formation, and its development degree is the main factor affecting the gas well productivity. The stable production capacity of gas well is more closely related to the reservoir connectivity than to the test production and reservoir thickness. According to the geological characteristics of karst paleogeomorphology and faults that control the type and distribution of reservoirs, the classification criteria of favorable development areas are established, which lays a foundation for the formulation of development technology policies.
