Research on Method of Predicting Sandbody Distribution of Tight Sandstone Gas Reservoirs Based on ArcGIS
摘要
In recent years, lateral sandbody variations of Shan 1 tight sandstone gas reservoirs discovered in the southwest of Ordos Basin are rapid, and prediction of its sandbody distribution is difficult. Under the background of the study of “Deep-Time Digital Earth” and “Oil and Gas Field Digitization”, in order to meet the industrial demand of reducing cost and increasing efficiency of domestic gas fields, a digital driven sandbody distribution prediction method for tight sandstone gas reservoirs is proposed in this paper. This study is concentrated on the Shan 1 gas reservoirs in North Qingyang area of Gansu Province, and proposed a prediction method of sandbody distribution based on Geographic Information System (ArcGIS 10.6 platform), using the data analysis function of its Geostatistical Analysis Module, and utilizing its kriging interpolation of sandbody thickness. This method firstly uses the module to carry out exploratory analysis of sandbody thickness data and sandbody thickness spatial analysis based on semi-variogram function, which is based on the spatial connection between Geostatistical Analysis Module and sandbody thickness database. This method is followed by defining the distribution trend of sandbody on the plane, determining the preferred direction of sandbody thickness kriging interpolation, and interpolating sandbody thickness by using the simple kriging index model to generate the prediction map of sandbody distribution in the Shan 1 Member of the study area by Geostatistical Analysis Module. The coincidence between the sandbody distribution prediction map and the sandbody thickness plan drawn by geological method is about 85%. Research on this method can provide a new thought for sandbody distribution prediction of tight sandstone gas reservoirs of petroliferous basins in China.
