摘要

In order to clarify the deposition mode of TLUS layer of Upper Cretaceous Napo formation in P oilfield of Ecuador and guide the next well planning. Using core and logging data, combined with regional sedimentary background and seismic inversion, the sedimentary microfacies characteristics and microfacies distribution of TLUS layer of Napo formation in P oilfield are studied in details. The results indicate that: (1) the TLUS layer of P oilfield is a tidal controlled shelf sedimentary environment, and the main microfacies include tidal channel, tidal sand bar, tidal sand ridge, shelf sand beach, shelf mud, etc.; The tidal channel is the best microfacies, and its distribution direction is mainly NW-SE; (2) The lithology is mainly fine sandstone and fine-medium sandstone, with high compositional maturity and medium structural maturity. The average content of quartz in the core is more than 90%, with a small amount of rock debris and no feldspar. The clay mineral is mainly kaolinite; (3) There are abundant sedimentary structures in tidal environment, such as lenticular bedding, vein bedding, wavy bedding and pinnate cross bedding, and biological relics can be seen; (4) The curve shape is mainly box shape, bell shape and the compound shape of box shape and bell shape, with a small amount of funnel shape and finger shape; (5) The tidal channel microfacies in the middle of P oilfield are the most developed, but the development degree is high. It is predicted that the southern tidal channel is relatively developed and has not been developed yet, which is a favorable area for exploration and development in the future. The research results have great guiding significance for the well planning in the south of P oilfield.
