Expanding the Best Scientific and Technical Practices by Rosneft Oil Company on International Projects in the Middle East

Starting from 2017, Rosneft Oil Company, one of the world’s largest public oil production companies and the leader of the Russian oil industry, is implementing a of hydrocarbon exploration, production, infrastructure development, logistics and trading project in the Middle East. The Middle East project is one of the key international projects undertaken by Rosneft. Over 4 years of scientific and technical support of this project, IGiRGI Scientific Center has gained a vast practical experience in the subject assets: 2D/3D seismic survey data interpretation, petrophysical modelling, special well logs interpretation, such as electric microimagers, cross-dipole acoustic logging, 3D geological modelling and estimation of hydrocarbon reserves according to the international classification, 3D simulation and reservoir engineering, field development monitoring, multidisciplinary support of exploration and production well drilling and testing, design of the field development documentation in accordance with requirements of the Middle East Ministries of Natural Resources as well as a number of research and development projects. The high quality of scientific and technical services rendered by IGiRGI Scientific Center helps the Operator to timely assess the economic benefit of fields and blocks and to make strategic investment decisions in preparing economically efficient assets for geological exploration and full-scale field development.
