摘要

Doseo Basin is located in southern Chad with overall distribution nearly NEE-SWW, 400 km long from east to west and 60 km wide from north to south. It is a strike-slip rift basin spreading along the Borogop strike-slip fault zone (Cheng et al. 2021). The whole basin is a half-graben-like fault basin deep in the north and shallow in the south. The sedimentary strata are mainly Lower Cretaceous. The thickness of Mangara group deposited during the early rift stage is more than half of the whole Lower Cretaceous. Due to the low level of exploration, there is no previous research data available for reference, and a complete sequence framework has not been established for this set of strata. In order to make clear the filling characteristics of Mangara group, this article carried out stratigraphic sequence division based on seismic wave group characteristics and limited well data. Finally, the Mangara group is divided into two third-order sequences and the filling characteristics are clear. This article provides valuable sequence basis for subsequent exploration of this set of strata.
