Appendix 1: The Main Music Score Composers in the History of Anime

This chapter is a small encyclopaedia of the main music score composers in the history of anime. It collects the artistic biographies of the 45 most acknowledged composers for animation made in Japan; while the information provided in the chapter could be find in a variety of sources, it would otherwise be quite scattered and often imprecise or incomplete, thus the chapter systematises the core information on the subject for future reference and is complementary to the other two mini-encyclopaedias in Part IV.
