Ambiguities of Post-dubbing in the United States

In this agile contribution, the issue of “Sub versus Dub” is discussed, which remains an ever going debate within the global anime fan community. This reductive binary between subtitling and dubbingdubbing anime seems to exists solely to differentiate what we could call “true fans” from a more “average” audience, and the contentious preference for either subs or dubsdubs generates an almost immediate and antagonistic atmosphere in anime fan communities.
