摘要

This chapter is a composite contribution made up of four parts. After a general short introduction, it delves into four case studies from the 1970s and 1980s: the original or semi-original scores and songs made outside of Japan for those anime series. For Heidi in Germany, by G. Wilden and C. Brühn (1977); for Captain Harlock (as Albator) in France (1978, by various artists); for Ufo Robo Grendizer (as Atlas Ufo Robot) in Italy, by L. Albertelli and V. Tempera (1978–9); and for Macross (as Robotech) in the United States, by U. Minucci (1985).
