This has led to a surge in the market for hair-care products and management techniques in the last two decades, accompanied by a renewed interest in the physiology, pathology, and management of hair. This chapter critically examines various aspects, including the pathophysiology and psychology of hair loss, and provides an overview of the current state of management.
