VCD Challenged to Interfacial Supramolecular Chirality
摘要
This chapter describes the challenge of VCD to interfacial systems such as Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) films, cast films, colloidal gold particles and plasmonic metamaterials. Inevitable difficulty on this issue arises from low signal intensity and birefringence effects. Nevertheless, the increasing number of papers demonstrates the unique potentiality of VCD to reveal the details of molecular packing at interfacial boundaries.
