Allocation of Children’s Commercial Health Insurance for Mid-High Net Worth Families

摘要

This chapter analyzes the allocation of children's commercial health insurance for mid-high net worth families. The results show that the coverage rate of children's commercial medical insurance for mid-high net worth families is significantly higher than that of non mid-high net worth families; there are some differences in the trends in the average cost of children's commercial medical insurance for mid-high net worth households and non mid-high net worth households; the average cost of children's commercial medical insurance is significantly higher for girls than for boys in mid-high net worth families, whereas the average cost for boys is higher than for girls in non mid-high net worth families; mid-high net worth households invest more money in children's commercial health insurance and have more demand for children's commercial health insurance. This also shows that mid-high net worth families can provide better insurance coverage for their children.
