Optimal Configuration of Energy Storage Devices in Distribution Systems for Promoting Renewable Energy Accommodation
摘要
The large-scale integration of renewable energy into energy structure increases the uncertainty of its output and poses issues to the security of distribution systems. It’s important to make a rational configuration of energy storage devices, aiming to promote the accommodation of renewable energy. To address this issue, a method for optimizing and configuring energy storage devices is proposed, aiming to improve renewable energy accommodation. Firstly, an analysis is conducted on the development bottlenecks and the necessity of constructing energy storage in the new power system. Subsequently, considering the economic benefits, renewable energy accommodation requirements, and the constraints of energy storage device operation characteristics and system security, an optimal configuration model of energy storage devices is established. Finally, case studies on a certain distribution system are performed to verify the validity of the proposed model. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively promote renewable energy accommodation and enhance the economic performance of power system operation.
