A Simplified Lattice Boltzmann Flux Solver of Multiphase Flows
摘要
This chapter presents a simplified version of the multiphase lattice Boltzmann flux solver (MLBFS) that uses both the distribution functions and the macroscopic variables to calculate the numerical fluxes at the interface. This simplification enhances the computational efficiency without compromising the numerical accuracy and stability of the original MLBFS. We test the simplified MLBFS on the Laplace law and the Rayleigh–Taylor instability problems and show that it can reduce the computation time by up to 18.32% compared to the original method.
