Assessment of Water Use Efficiency for Sustainable Water Management by Integration of Remote Sensing and Machine Learning
摘要
The present study focused on estimation of the irrigation water application and water use efficiency in Krishna Central Delta (KCD) by integrating the remote sensing image processing and machine learning along with ancillary data. The results obtained from remote sensing methods were evaluated by field method of estimation of water use efficiency of a crop. The estimated water use efficiency was varied between 0.202 kg/m3 at Mopidevi and 0.350 kg/m3 at Penamaluru. The standard deviation from mean is 0.066. The coefficient of variation among all mandals is 0.227. The spatial maps prepared indicated the variation in rainfall, water application efficiency in the study area and were used to suggest the sustainable water management strategies.
