摘要

Since the industrial revolution, the fast rise in worldwide atmospheric carbon dioxide as well as other greenhouse gas emissions has resulted in climate change and a disruption in global rainfall pattern in soybean-soybean cropping systems. All of these fluctuations in climatic circumstances affect the growth, development, production, and quality of soybean crop in soybean-soybean cropping systems. Soybean is one of the world’s important grain and oil crop, and any change in soybean production in soybean-soybean cropping systems under future climatic scenarios would affect grain as well as edible oil security on a regional and worldwide scale. Various soybean models are applied for measurement of the climate change and its influence on soybean production in soybean-soybean cropping systems. This book chapter looks into the implications of raised carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, rising temperatures, and heat stress on soybean morphophysiology, phenology, and growth, as well as the future research needs that could provide a scientific foundation for future soybean production and the implementation of appropriate adaptation strategies in the perspective of climatic change’s influence on soybean production in soybean-soybean cropping systems.
