Sequential Modeling
摘要
The world’s burgeoning population is a concern to economists, social scientists, and agriculturists seeking to feed the world and ensure food security. Productivity of individual crops and various cropping systems are moving against the sustained production levels, and climate change and climate variability are key reasons. However, less importance has been given to system-level research and productivity. The application of crop simulation models is an alternate approach for improving the standards of research at the cropping system level for climate-smart production of various cropping systems under either sequential cropping or intercropping. In this chapter, we discuss important cropping systems in the world along with application of decision support system for agrotechnology transfer for various cropping systems.
