Power quality has recently attracted a lot of interest from both power utilities as well as consumers of electrical power. The performance of the equipment at the consumer can be impacted by power quality issues like transient, short-duration a lack of voltage, waveform fluctuations (swells, sags, and interrupts), distortion (Asynchronous current offset, the harmonics, inter-harmonics, cutting, and noise), voltage fluctuations, with modifications to the power frequency. Customers in the industrial sector who frequently use delicate equipment are those who are most impacted by these issues. Due to this issue, they have lost a significant amount of money. To address this issue, gadgets like STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator), DVR stands for Dynamic Voltage Restorer, along with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) were developed. D-STATCOM has limitations in terms of its capability and features. To be able to reduce system voltage sag, these will focus on the way the D-STATCOM controls voltage. With a view to obtain results, a simulation was run using PSCAD/Simulink software. A high current surged through the wires during a system overload, causing voltage sag as a result. D-STATCOM was incorporated into the system to reduce this voltage sag. The research's goal is to compare D-STATCOM performance before and after sagging events. The significance of power quality concerns, their impact on industrial clients, and the usage of D-STATCOM to reduce voltage sag.
