Study of the \(p_T\) Spectrum of the Z Boson at LHC Using Leading-Order Event Generators
摘要
We present a study of Z boson production in association with a jet with proton-proton collisions data generated at LHC center-of-mass energy of \(\sqrt{s} =\) 13.6 TeV, using leading-order event generators namely Pythia8 and Herwig7. The Z boson is reconstructed with \(Z\rightarrow \mu ^{+}\mu ^{-}\) and \(Z\rightarrow e^{+}e^{-}\) decay channels and the jet is reconstructed using anti- \(k_T\) algorithm with r = 0.4. In this study, we compare the transverse momentum, \(p_{{T}}^Z\) and the invariant mass, \(m_Z\) spectra in both Pythia8 and Herwig7 event generators by considering Z+jet and Drell-Yan processes.
