This chapter starts with discussing the key notions of sexuality in Buddhism, Tao and Chinese culture such as: Yin-Yen, mindfulness, Chinese sexual astrology etc. and further includes the Indian Hindu thoughts such Tantra, Kama yoga and types of sexuality etc. The chapter further explores the Christian indigenous thoughts on sexuality such as: Sexual deviation, alchemy and honour-shame culture etc. It further highlights the topics of Islamic indigenous thoughts such as sexual rights, female genital cutting, sexual health issues etc. Finally the chapter ends with the discussion on Indigenous sexuality texts and thoughts with regards to psychology and mental health. By including a wide range of the topics in a single place, this chapter provides a fine and exploratory text in the subject. All concepts mentioned in the chapter explain their own, sole justification as per their concerned citation and reference, which should not be taken and considered across other knowledge systems or religion.
